City College Norwich (CCN) is a further and higher education institution with two campuses based close to the centre of Norwich, on Ipswich Road and Exchange Street, as well as the International Aviation Academy Norwich (IAAN) situated at Norwich International Airport. Higher Education (HE) is delivered at all three sites.
CCN is one of the University of East Anglia’s (UEA) longest standing partnerships, having been a partner since 2006. The college offers a broad range of UEA validated HE study options, from foundation degrees and bachelor degrees to higher and degree apprenticeships. The subjects on offer include Business Management; Childhood Studies; English; English with Social Sciences; Integrated Health and Social Care; Leadership in the Public Sector; Psychology with Sociology; Applied Sport, Health and Exercise; Health Studies; Professional Aviation Engineering; Leadership and Management; Early Years; Mental Health Practice and Social Work. Students who successfully complete validated courses will be awarded a UEA degree.
Across the campuses, there are a wide range of industry-standard facilities including media suites, TV studies, dance spaces and design labs. CCN has been delivering education in the city of Norwich for over 125 years, and in the last couple of years many of the buildings and facilities on the main campus have been newly built or refurbished. Students visit the high-tech StartUp Lounge for a wide range of experience of work activities, as well as inspiring talks and support for employability skills and more. Creative and performing arts students now have a stunning, new, award-winning Creative Arts Building in which to learn. The newly redeveloped Broadland Drive is the hub for a whole range of student-led and College events. Students and staff at City College Norwich also have access to a range of UEA facilities.
UEA validated HE Programmes at City College Norwich are governed by the Norfolk Regulatory Framework (NRF), which is also accessible via the College's Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).
