Spiritual meeting place and community centre on campus Spiritual meeting place and community centre on campus

The Multifaith Centre is currently unavailable for group meetings or meetings with Chaplains, in line with Coronavirus guidelines. Chaplains remain available for consultation by all students and staff, via email in the first place, though other forms of digital communication are also available. Please email multifaithcentre@uea.ac.uk or phone 01603 592168 with any questions or concerns you have, or if you would like to be put in touch with any individual Chaplain.

UEA's Multifaith Centre is a spiritual meeting place and community centre on campus.  We are open for staff and students of the University from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday during semester time and on Sunday evenings for services.

Please browse through these pages to see what's happening here, and feel free to come and enjoy this "home from home" facility on campus.  Tea and coffee are available all day for 30p a cup, and our Common Room is one of the best locations on Campus in which to have your lunch - and you are welcome to do so.  There is a microwave available to heat food.

Our facilities include a large Common Room with easy chairs and a kitchen, two Quiet Rooms for individuals or small groups to spend time in contemplation or prayer, and a large Worship Room for religious services.

The Centre is seen as very much a ‘safe' place, where no-one will bother if you do not want to be bothered, and where belief is not a pre-requisite for any activity.

The three upstairs rooms in the Multifaith Centre are now accessible 24/7.  To be able to access this space, users will need to apply for their campus card to be activated so they can gain access to the building. Please use the online application form to request access.
