An exciting and growing collection of contemporary authors’ manuscripts, correspondence and related literary material of major significance to the international research community. The initiative builds on the University’s international reputation for creative writing, the status of Norwich as a UNESCO City of Literature, and UEA’s strong links with writers of world renown through its international literary festivals and the presence of the British Centre for Literary Translation and the emerging National Centre for Writing which will be based in Norwich. 

NEWS: The Archive Reading Room will be closed to visitors for building work from 15 June - 18 August as a programme of refurbishment takes place in the Library. Please contact us archives@uea.ac.uk for further information/ to discuss your requirements.
