Settling In Settling In

Beginning university is an exciting time with new experiences, new challenges and the chance make lots of new friends.  We hope that you will enjoy the early weeks of meeting new people, beginning your studies and adjusting to (possibly) living away from home for the first time.  We understand, however, that this time can also seem daunting, scary and unsettling at first.  It is perfectly normal to feel anxious, and maybe even feel a bit homesick.  However, if you are finding these feelings difficult to deal with, or are feeling overwhelmed by the experience, please come and talk to us.

Advisers are available to discuss any aspect of your time at UEA that you would like to raise. Come into the Student Services Student Life Centre (LSB 0.20), call us on 01603 592761 or use the online referral form to make arrangements to speak to someone.
