I am a Relationship Manager with a passion for engineering. I work within the Research and Innovation team at UEA to enable the interaction and collaboration between the staff and students in the University's Engineering department and other relevant parts of the University, with local and national engineering companies.
If you would like to speak to me about the work done within engineering at UEA or the different ways we might be able to work together please contact me.
I have worked as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in the oil and gas industry on a number of projects for the North Sea and Gulf of Mexico. I am versed in design of subsea control systems and have experience of dynamic hydraulic analysis. Previously I was the Course Leader for the University Campus Suffolk's BEng and FdSc in Operations Engineering based at the Lowestoft campus.
During my time in further and higher education, I completed an apprenticeship at Corus Colors, then earned a Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wales and I have recently completed a Master's Degree in Energy Engineering at UEA. I am a Graduate Member of the Energy Institute.
