The Ignite programme is a week-long training course for aspiring entrepreneurs and corporate innovators to trial and prepare business ideas. The programme involves practical teaching, mentor sessions and support from leading entrepreneurs and innovators.

UEA sponsorship covers course costs and accommodation in Cambridge for the full course duration.

To apply, please provide no more than two sides of A4 on why you wish to attend. This should include details of a potential business idea and what levels of benefit and support you feel you could gain from the programme.

Applications should be sent to Jon Carter, Head of Innovation (, by Thursday 12th March for consideration at the Innovation Executive meeting 24th March.

The successful applicants will need to submit an application to the Ignite programme. RIN can provide assistance with these applications if required.

Full details of the programme can be found here.
