Procurement Fully CIPS Qualified

The Procurement Office is pleased to announce that Lisa Donaldson recently gained NVQ level 4 in Purchasing and Supply which has enabled her to become a Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply(MCIPS) qualification; having already completed NVQ level 3 in June 2014. In total consisting of 34 months of study, with continuous coursework submissions, this was on top of working in a busy Procurement office!

“Lisa has worked hard to achieve her MCIPS qualification working on projects outside of her daily routine to extend her knowledge and experience of procurement, this now means that the entire team have CIPS qualifications” commented by Robert Dumolo (Procurement Manager)

All members of the Procurement team, now have CIPS qualifications, gained through either NVQ or exam route, providing broad level of procurement knowledge and over 100 years of procurement expertise.

The Charted Institute of Purchasing and Supply is the premier global organisation serving the procurement and supply profession, dedicated to promoting best practice. It originated in the UK in 1932, (when the cost of loaf of bread was just over a penny!), with just 7 members, then known as the Purchasing Officers Association, now CIPS has 120,000 members in 150 countries.
