The BA Social Work Prize for Achievement

An annual prize of £100 will be awarded to the Social Work student who achieves the highest aggregate mark in the third year of the programme.

Rules

  1. There shall a prize awarded annually by the School of Social Work to be known as the BA Social Work Prize for Achievement.
  2. The Prize shall be awarded to the third year student registered for the BA in Social Work who achieves the highest aggregate mark.
  3. The value of the Prize shall be £100.
  4. It shall be awarded by the Board of the School of Social Work on the recommendation of the Board of Examiners.
  5. If two or more candidates achieve the same aggregate marks and are judged to be of sufficient and equal merit, the Prize may be divided. If no candidates are judged to be of sufficient merit, the Prize shall not be awarded.
  6. Acceptance of the Prize is subject to allowing UEA to publicise as appropriate the success of the candidate.

An annual prize will be awarded by the School of Social Work to the third year student registered for the BA in Social Work who achieves the highest aggregate mark across the Dissertation module.

An annual prize of £100 is awarded to the student on the BA in Social Work deemed to have made the most outstanding contribution to their placement.

  2. It shall be awarded by the Board of the School of Social Work on the recommendation of the Board of Examiners of the BA in Social Work to the student deemed to have made the most outstanding contribution to their placement.
  3. The value of the Prize shall be £100.
  4. If two or more candidates are deemed by the Board of Examiners of the BA in Social Work to have made an equally outstanding contribution to placement and are judged to be of sufficient and equal merit, the Prize may be divided. If no candidates are judged to be of sufficient merit, the Prize shall not be awarded.
  5. Acceptance of the Prize is subject to allowing UEA to publicise as appropriate the success of the candidate.
