Faculty of Science Prizes

Two annual prizes of £100 each are awarded for distinguished performance in the Final Assessment of a) the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences or the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences with a Year in Australasia or the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences with a Year in Europe or the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences with a Year in North America or the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences with a Year in Industry; and b) the MNatSci Natural Science.

Rules

  1. There shall be two prizes awarded annually in the Faculty of Science both to be known as the Faculty of Science Prize.
  2. The value of each prize shall be £100.00 and shall be awarded by the Faculty of Science on the recommendation of the Board of Examiners for Natural Sciences.
  3. The prizes shall be awarded at the discretion of the Board of Examiners for distinguished performance in the Final Assessment of a) the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences or the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences with a Year in Australasia or the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences with a Year in Europe or the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences with a Year in North America or the BSc (Hons) Natural Sciences with a Year in Industry; and b) the MNatSci Natural Science.
  4. If two or more candidates are judged to be of equal and sufficient merit, the prizes may be divided.
  5. If in any year no candidates are judged to be of sufficient merit, the prizes shall not be awarded.
