Our binding service offers several types of document binding:
Comb binding, also referred to as plastic comb binding or spiral comb binding, uses a round plastic spine to hold pages together through rectangular holes. Provides an effective bind that allows the book to lie flat.
This type of binding involves placing the punched pages of the document onto a C shaped spine and then closing the spine using a wire closer, until the spine is round. Documents bound in this way will lie flat on a desk and 360 degree rotation of bound pages is possible.
Fastback soft binding
A soft type binding involving separate front and back covers bound with a reinforced cloth spine. Works well when binding 80-100gsm uncoated pages.
Also referred to as saddle stitching, this is an excellent way to bind smaller documents, or those with a smaller number of pages. This method involves stapling your pages together along the fold, creating a solid bind.
