Streamlined concession processes

We have streamlined the concession process for a number of issues where we are receiving many requests.  The information required for these is as follows - this list will increase over time:

  • Holding viva by videoconference: We need the student's consent in writing or as an email, and the name of an independent chair. Please see our Research Programme Concessions page for further details.
  • Extension to thesis submission or resubmission due in March, April or May 2020: If you think that you will need a longer extension than the 14 calendar days already granted you will find details and an online form on this page
  • Probationary Review Meetings by videoconference: With effect from 23 March 2020 Probationary Review Meetings should be held via videoconference. No concession is required for this. Please see our PGR Annual Progress and Probationary Review page for further guidance.
