DLHE is (not quite) dead; long live Graduate Outcomes
Even as the Planning Office prepares for the main phase of this year's DLHE survey of the 16/17 leaving cohort, running from November to March, the confirmation has arrived that the survey will be replaced by the new Graduate Outcomes survey from next year.
So, will Graduate Outcomes simply be a rebranded DLHE, or is something more fundamental taking place? Here are some of the key differences:
|Run 6 months after course completion||Run 15 months after course completion||Aims to provide graduates from all disciplines with sufficient time to gain employment at an appropriate level|
|Survey conducted by each HEP locally||Survey conducted centrally by an appointed agency||Aims to provide a level playing field and increase efficiencies|
