West Suffolk College (WSC) is a further and higher education institute with three campuses in Bury St Edmunds, including a STEM innovation campus and multiple learning centres throughout Norfolk and Suffolk, including Haverhill, Ipswich, Newmarket, Sudbury, Stowmarket, and Thetford. Higher Education (HE) is offered at WSC’s campuses in Bury St Edmunds.

WSC is one of the University of East Anglia’s (UEA) newest partnerships and already provide a diverse range of HE options spanning from Art and Design to Engineering. From September 2019, WSC has offered  a degree in BA Hons in Live Sound; their first to be validated by UEA. Students who successfully complete these courses will be awarded a UEA degree.

Employability, character strengths and work-based skills are important foundations for every qualification offered at WSC, and students can expect to gain the business connections and skills to help them on the way to their chosen career paths. In addition to this, WSC is at the heart of the historic and picturesque market town of Bury St Edmunds which offers something for everyone and is only an hour away from Cambridge and London. The Cathedral town has a thriving cultural life, with everything from live music, comedy, and theatre to independent shops, award winning restaurants, and festivals.

UEA validated HE Programmes at West Suffolk College are governed by UEA Regulations.
