Norwich is easily accessible by road, rail, bus and coach. Get Google directions here

UEA is situated on the outskirts of Norwich, around two and a half miles west of the city centre, just off Earlham Road (B1108) which is one of the main roads out of the city. From London take the M11/A11 north. Just outside Norwich take the A47 towards Swaffham - the University is signposted from the next exit (B1108). If you are driving from the North or the Midlands, take the A47 via King's Lynn, or A14 as far as Newmarket, then the A11 towards Norwich.

If you’re coming by air, the easiest way to get here is to fly to Norwich Airport. There are regular flights from Aberdeen, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Manchester and Paris. You can get a connection to Norwich from most cities at Schipol Airport, Amsterdam (KLM, Northwest, Air France). Once you land in Norwich, you’re a 15 minute taxi ride from campus. There is a Meet and Greet Service for new students arriving at Norwich and Heathrow airports during the international arrival days. If you’re flying into London airports (Gatwick, Heathrow and Stansted), you can get to Norwich by National Express coaches or by train (see below). Taxis from Gatwick or Heathrow are very expensive – it will usually cost well over £150.

You can get a National Express coach from most UK cities directly to UEA campus. If you want to get the bus from Norwich city centre, you should take the 25 or 26. Catch them at Castle Meadow and St Stephens Street, close to the Bus Station in Norwich city centre. If you’re travelling by train, you can usually get a cheaper ticket by booking in advance. You can get to Norwich from London Liverpool Street in under 2 hours. Trains run every 30 minutes. Trains arrive direct from the Midlands, the North of England and Scotland or can be reached via Peterborough. The easiest way to reach UEA from the station is by taxi, which costs less than £10 and takes approximately 15 minutes. Or catch a bus, and see a little more of the neighbourhood. The 25 and 26 run directly from the train station.
