The School was founded in 2003 and has quickly risen to become one of the top pharmacy schools in the country, number one in the Guardian University Guide (2013). Our Pharmacy degree is highly acclaimed for its innovative content and teaching methods and was reaccredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council in 2012 with no conditions or recommendations.

The Schools of Study at UEA teach thousands of undergraduate and postgraduate students each year across the four faculties of our campus in Norwich.

We’re looking forward to welcoming you to Pharmacy.

If you haven’t already, check out our School pages on the UEA website.

In the meantime, don’t forget to Register Online to get access to your timetable once it becomes available, and log in to Blackboard our virtual learning environment.

Once you have registered online you will also need to attend a registration event (unless you are an undergraduate home student living in UEA accommodation, since you are registered automatically when you pick up your room keys).

  1. Welcome to the School of Pharmacy for 2020! Wherever you are in the world, the School will provide you with an exciting and supportive learning environment, which will challenge and enthuse you.

Your first weeks with UEA Pharmacy will be busy and exciting. You will be joining a caring community of staff and fellow students who make being part of our team so wonderful. We will all support you to enjoy everything we have to offer, socially and academically.

My own research interests include searching for new antibiotics from terrestrial plants and also from bacteria living in unusual habitats, for example hot and cold springs. I hope your time with us will be successful and rewarding and I look forward to seeing where your own interests take you in the future.

For now, joining your School student society is a great way for you to meet other people from your course. Start by connecting with them on Inter Professional Education

You will be able to find many of our staff on their social media accounts, but you can also connect with the School on:

You can follow our hashtags to keep up with everything going on. You can use them if you want to get involved, share news and info and meet new friends.
