To register at the University you need to complete an online registration task before you arrive at the University. It’s best to do this as soon as you receive the email about it, as this will enable you to access further information about the University and to prepare for your time here at UEA. You will complete your registration in person once you arrive on campus.
Up to four weeks before the start of your course, we’ll send you an email confirming your place. This will include instructions for online registration as well as how to set up your IT account and passwords.
Online registration is easy, you just confirm your personal details and the course you’re taking, and answer some finance questions. You also set up your IT password, read and agree to the University regulations and upload a photo of yourself for your campus card.

Get an email account
Your UEA email account is set up as part of your online registration. You won’t need to access the emails until you arrive though. Before then, we will send any important information to the email address you gave us when you applied.
Access your online student record
Once you’ve completed your online registration, you can access e:Vision. This is where you can see your student record and other information. Login to e:Vision using your new UEA username and password at: https://sso.uea.ac.uk/evision
Pay your fees
Paying your tuition fees directly
If you are paying fees yourself you need to complete the tuition fee section of the online registration. You can choose to pay by Direct Debit or in full. If you’re paying the fees all at once, you have 28 days from the date of the invoice to make your payment. You can also choose to pay in three instalments. If you are in receipt of a studentship or have a sponsor it should show up on your online registration form automatically. If it doesn’t, press ‘report a problem’ and let us know, it will then tell you to scan or bring your supporting documents to the Finance Enquiry Office in The Registry.
Join the Students' Union
Once you’ve completed your online registration and got your UEA IT account, you can register with the Students’ Union. That means you can find out about all the events going on and get details of clubs and societies.
