Miwa Uno, an International Student at UEA give us some useful tips on living and studying in the UK

We know there is a lot to think about when travelling to study in a new country and we hope to make your arrival as easy as possible.

UEA Student Services produce a brilliant brochure specially created for international students – packed with everything you need to know. You should download and read from cover to cover today.

Here’s some of the highlights: 

  1. Visas and immigration – making sure your paperwork is all in order and you know what you need to do. Whether you are from the EU, or you need a visa for the UK, we have the information for you.

  2. Orientation and Welcome – for all new international students starting their courses in October and January. A full programme of information, social opportunities and helping you get settled. If you are able to and would like to attend, you are more than welcome to learn more about UEA and Norwich.

  3. The International Students Advisory Team (ISAT) - A dedicated team to support all international students studying at UEA, to help you overcome any challenges and to make the most of your time in the UK.
