Library Search is your main way into books and articles held by the Library, with Find Databases giving you access to further specialist resources to explore. This current subject guide provides a selection of key Databases and other resources likely to be of use as you undertake your studies.
|Library Search||Library Search is the one-stop shop for searching all of our collections - physical and electronic. It attempts to pull in data from every database we have access to, and is a good place to start a search.|
More information on how to navigate Library Search can be found in our Library search guide.
The vast majority of our e-resources are available off campus to all current staff and students and whilst there are a few resources that aren’t available this will be due to licencing restrictions.
The best way to access our licenced e-resources off campus is to start at Library Search. However, if you're accessing content online from a search engine or using free search tools like Gooogle Scholar its a good idea to download the Library Access Browser Tool which will point you to full text access where the UEA subscribes. For a step by step guide on installing and using Library access watch this short video.
Finding your feet at university is about finding your way around - not just on campus but in your new learning environment.
Four information trails are available on Blackboard to help you understand what's expected of you in terms of studying, reading, finding and managing information as an independent learner. Each one offers a 'mini-tour' of an important part of your new learning environment:

- Knowledge and independent learning
