The floor 2 Postgraduate Research Study Room has 39 study spaces including 7 PCs, available on a first come first served basis.  There are also 60 lockers.  Keys for the lockers are located in the High Demand area and can be self-issued for 14 days at a time with automatic renewals (unless requested). If all keys are out on loan requests can be placed by speaking to the Library Helpdesk. 

Information about Library fines and charges.

In order to provide fair access, any belongings left in an overdue locker may be removed at the discretion of library staff.  We also ask that you do not store un-issued library material in the lockers or items that cannot be issued (such as theses, periodicals and reference books) in order that material is available to other uses to consult.

 

Interdisciplinary Research Space

The Interdisciplinary Research Space is an open, shared research space on Floor 1, where ideas and projects develop through collaboration. It is for Staff and Postgraduate Students to use for research activities and events, as well as for those running collaborative research activities with/for these groups. The Space is bookable, but booked events will be open access (except in special circumstances), so others can use the Space while events are going on.

Taught Postgraduate Study Room

The floor 2 Postgraduate Taught Study Room has 60 study spaces, including 30 PCs, available on a first come first served basis.  There are also 76 lockers.  Keys for the lockers are located in the High Demand area and can be self-issued for 7 days at a time with unlimited renewals (unless requested).  If all keys are out on loan requests can be placed but please be aware that you cannot place a reservation if you already have a key issued to your account.  Fines are charged on all overdue items.
