Unlike the other tools on this page, EndNote is a desktop program. It's flexible and very powerful, and includes hundreds of citation styles including many journal house styles. You can integrate EndNote Basic with your library to give you online access to your references from anywhere.

EndNote is free to UEA students on campus PCs. If you prefer, you can buy your own copy to install on your own computer via the link below.

CiteThemRight isn't an automatic reference generator like the other tools in this section, but a helpful interactive website that shows you how to reference practically any type of source - not just books and journals but ebooks, websites, legal material, conferences and even tweets!

CiteThemRight is free to UEA students and you can access it both on- and off-campus. (If you are off-campus you can log in using your UEA username and password.)
