Need resources from other Libraries? Need resources from other Libraries?

Although UEA Library has a wide range of both print and online resources there may be times when it does not fully meet your needs.

For example:

  • it may be that you need a particular item not available in UEA Library and the Interlending Service can help
  • it may be that you are away from UEA for the vacation and are interested in using a local academic library which might be possible through the SCONUL Access Scheme.
  • it may be that you want to read for leisure and the Norfolk Public Library Service might be able to provide what you need.

If a book is not available in UEA Library you can make a suggestion for us to purchase it by filling in a book suggestion form.

If you have having problems finding relevant resources then the subject guides may help or you could contact your Faculty Librarian for advice.

Reciprocal Borrowing

UEA Library has reciprocal borrowing schemes with local NHS Trust Libraries and NBI at the Norwich Research Park. Please contact the Assistant User Services Managers (Circulation) for further information on eligibility, entitlements and application: Ruth Collins (Monday & Tuesday) and Jess Daly (Wednesday-Friday), or see the 'UEA HSC, PHA or MED Students on placement' section on our External Borrower pages.
