Expanding delivery online provides opportunities to use face to face time in new and potentially more effective ways. If content has been pre-viewed by students, more face to face time becomes available to help students consolidate or integrate their understanding together. When the pressure of knowledge-transfer has been reduced, it becomes possible for academics and students to work collaboratively in learning to analyse, synthesise or evaluate and to adopt more dialogic styles of interaction.

The case studies below demonstrate the innovative ways that some of our current delivery teams have designed online content into their course structures.
