Many colleagues have found that moving to digital has opened up new possibilities for assessment and feedback. Assessing online can be a more convenient way to annotate and manage student work but it also gives delivery teams an opportunity to rethink assessment design. In the last year colleagues have started to assess videos and longitudinal portfolios of work for example or to individually assess submissions made by a collaborative group . Technology can also enhance feedback. A quick look through the case studies here will demonstrate how our students have benefitted from their markers' use of interactive rubrics, electronic annotation tools and other enhanced feedback techniques.
