Administration at the University can seem daunting but hopefully, by learning these basics, you will feel more at ease. We are also available to help you at the Hub so please drop by.

In this section we cover:

Blackboard and e:Vision - access

timetables - looking up and subscribing

campus directions

your pastoral care

how we get in touch with you

what to do when you can’t make a class.

If you are looking for information on what to do in your first few weeks, take a look at the New Student website and the University Handbook (PDF). The website contains specific information on your induction while the Handbook covers all aspects of Student life at the University.

Take some time to settle yourself into the University; find out where your Hub is, visit the Student Union and take a wander around your new campus.

Semester dates are listed in the academic calendar.

Final piece of advice: if you live off campus, don’t forget to print out your Council Tax Exemption form from e:Vision
