UEA Learning and Teaching Day 2017

This year's Learning and Teaching Day takes place on Thursday 18 May 2017. We will explore the ways in which teaching can be characterised. More details of the event, including registration, can be found on the CSED website.

 

UEA Learning and Teaching Day 2016

This will take place on Thursday 8 May 2016. This year’s theme depicts the ways in which teaching can be characterised.

 

UEA Learning and Teaching Day 2015

This will take place on Thursday 7 May 2015 on the theme of 'Student Transitions'.

 

UEA Learning and Teaching Day 2014

The theme was 'Creative approaches to Engagement and Assessment.

 

UEA Learning and Teaching Day 2013

The main theme was ‘Future Educations at UEA’ with keynote session around that topic. Posters and interactive presentations were held during the day and were open to all staff and research students to attend. It was a great opportunity to meet colleagues from other disciplines and partner colleges.

 

UEA Learning and Teaching Day 2012

The main theme of the day was Employability and there was a keynote session first thing exploring the relation between employability and teaching and learning. There was also a variety of sessions including, for example, assessment, screencasting and mindmapping.

 

Previous Learning and Teaching Days

Previous Learning and Teaching Days were held in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. They were an opportunity for enthusiasts and the curious to find out more about learning and teaching at UEA and its Partner Colleges. There were poster presentations and interactive sessions, including contributions by UEA Teaching Fellows and Partner Colleges. There were also presentations and discussions on two key projects sponsored by the Learning and Teaching Committee - namely: 'Transitions to/within HE' and 'Assessment'. The Director of Taught Programmes commented all events had been stimulating and enjoyable and that it was hoped that the fourth such event would be a definite date for everyone's diaries.
