Regulations governing Attendance, Engagement and Progress
University regulations on attendance, engagement and progress can be found in Regulation 13 of General Regulations for Students; this should be read in conjunction with University Policy on Student Engagement.
Procedure

Students in employment
Students are expected to attend all scheduled teaching events and to engage in independent study. Students should arrange any employment around their studies, such that they will be able to attend teaching events. Please consult the University's Policy on Students in Employment.
Fitness to study
Guidance and procedures on student fitness to study (for staff).
Pregnancy
The student has a responsibility to inform a member of UEA staff (normally the Academic Adviser, Senior Adviser or Supervisor) as soon as she is aware of her pregnancy. New and expectant mothers complete a Risk Assessment.
