We, along with many HEI’s and other businesses, have been experiencing Intel® CPU shipment delays resulting in increased lead-times for receipt of new HP equipment into UEA. Intel® have released the following statement to their customers:
‘Sustained market growth in 2019 has outpaced our efforts and exceeded third-party forecasts. Supply remains extremely tight in our PC business where we are operating with limited inventory buffers. This makes us less able to absorb the impact of any production variability, which we have experienced in the quarter. This has resulted in the shipment delays you are experiencing, which we appreciate is creating significant challenges for your business.'

As a result, ITCS are working closely with our supplier, DTP Group, to identify possible solutions to mitigate the impact of this supply constraint. We have been assured that HP are ‘committed to helping our partners and customers manage through this ongoing situation’ and that they ‘recognize the potential impact this may have on the business and supporting you remains our top priority’.
We recommend using careful planning, and forecasting if possible, to place orders as soon as possible with DTP Group. In addition, when an order is placed, please also email the end-user details together with the UEA PO number directly to DTP at: email@example.com This will help speed up the appointment booking process between DTP Group and UEA end-users.
