This information is for staff and ex-staff wishing to apply for a UEA Campus Card and/or IT Account. Please choose which category applies to you from the options below to find out how to apply and to download the appropriate application form.

Aleph Federation

Submit a V1 application form to the IT Helpdesk in the Library (to be validated by the User Services Senior Management).

Submit a completed v1 Application form to your authorising INTO sponsor (usually Head of Department) who will authorise and forward this to the UEA Library, Norwich

Submit a completed v1 application form to your authorising INTO sponsor (usually Head of Department) before submitting a V1 application form to the IT Helpdesk in the Library.

Ensured that your signed contract of work has been returned to the Human Resources. Once UEA Human Resources have processed your signed contract, please download a campus card application form and submit it to the IT Helpdesk in the Library

Submit a v3 application form to your home institution for validation.

Retired ex-UEA

Submit a V2b application form to the Library Helpdesk. Your application form should be submitted with supporting evidence of your employment at UEA (required by means of written letter of confirmation from HR to be obtained by applicant) and covering letter stating the reason for your application. NB. A charge applies for ex-staff with less than 15 years continuous service.

SCONUL Access Scheme

UEA staff wanting to borrow from another HE Institution via the SCONUL Scheme:

Provided you are eligible to join the scheme you will need to apply via the SCONUL Access website, from whom you will receive a confirmation email. You can then check the information about members on the SCONUL Access site to find out if a particular institution is a member of the scheme and what their local requirements are.

Staff at other HE institutions wanting to borrow from UEA via the SCONUL Scheme:

If you home institution is a SCONUL member and you are eligible to join the scheme you need to apply via the SCONUL Access website, from whom you will receive a confirmation email. You then need to submit a V2a application form with your confirmation email or SCONUL card and and home institution ID card to the Library Helpdesk in UEA Library.

SU (Student Union)

Obtain a signature from your authorising SU sponsor (usually Head of Department) before submitting a V1 application form to the IT Helpdesk in the Library.

Staff paid by and working at UEA should ensure that their signed contract of employment has been returned to UEA Human Resources. Once UEA Human Resources have processed your signed contract, please download a campus card application form and submit it to the IT Helpdesk in the Library.
