I am attending my ceremony, when will I receive my certificate?
If you are not already in receipt of your certificate you will be presented with this shortly before crossing the stage.
If you are appealing the classification of your award, you will be given a substitute document until the appeal is resolved. Your certificate will follow by post once the Graduation Office has been informed that the appeals process has been satisfactorily completed.
I have opted to receive my award by post, how and when will it be sent?
Your certificate will be sent between 22 July 2019 and 2 August 2019 to your nominated address using one of the following delivery methods:
Royal Mail 1st Class to a UK address
Airmail to a NON UK address
If your certificate is being sent to a NON UK address you have the option to upgrade your delivery to DHL at a cost of £35.00. This would mean delivery usually within 2-4 days of despatch (exceptions apply) together with a full tracking service. Can my certificate be collected from the University?
No, unfortunately we do not allow personal collections. Your certificate will be mailed using one of the options above.
How do I inform you of a change of address?
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 12 July 2019.
How will my name appear on my certificate?
At the time your pass list is produced and approved by the University's Senate the official name as it appears on University records will be used.
Your certificate will be produced using the official name as printed on the pass list.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your official name is complete and correct prior to the production of your pass list.
If you fail to ensure your official name is correct prior to the pass list being produced, and as a result a new pass list and/or certificate is required; you will be charged an administration fee.
