The Post and Portering Team provide a mail sorting and short term mail holding service, as well as a parcel collection point and portering services.

We provide a mail franking service for internal schools and departments. This is chargeable at a rate of the postage cost + a 10% surcharge of the postage cost total.
Internal mail collection and delivery times
All standard mail, including priority mail, will be delivered and collected on week days 09:00-10:30
The Portering service covers everything from moving a filing cabinet to moving an entire office. The service is offered on weekdays between 10am and 3pm. Should you need the service outside these hours, a charge out rate per porter will apply, please advise upon booking.
The Portering Team will try to meet your requirements as closely as possible, but it may not always be possible to meet short notice time or day specific requirements due to the high demand for portering services. Portering priorities reflect University core business - Examinations, Congregation and other important events will always be the highest priority for bookings.

Out of hours and off site portering
It is possible for the portering service to be booked out of hours and for tasks off site on university business. There is a charge for this service which is £23.89 per man hour to internal customers.
There is a Post Office on campus, this is located in The Shop. Standard opening hours during term time:
Mon - Fri: 9am - 5.30pm.
Sat: 9am - 1.30pm.
