Konect Bus Park and Ride
For those travelling to Graduation by car, a free Park and Ride service has been arranged for Graduates and guests as follows:
Costessey Park and Ride
This is located off the A47 at the Norfolk Showground junction:
Postcode: NR9 3LX
First departure from Park and Ride: 07:00 (Tue 18th – Fri 21st) 11:30 (Mon 17th)
Last departure from UEA: 20:00 (Mon 17th – Thu 20th) 15:00 (Fri 21st)
Frequency: Every 10 minutes
Approximate Journey time: 15 minutes
Capacity: 148 people per journey (47 seated)
Guests should aim to arrive at the Park & Ride half an hour before they wish to arrive onto Campus. Buses are every 10 minutes and the journey takes under 20 minutes. Congregation hall is open 45 minutes before each ceremony for guests to arrive and find their seats. Please be aware that all guests should be seated and ready 15 minutes for the ceremonies.
Blue Badge Holders may pre-book a space in the main car park on campus (see below).
The Park and Ride parking area does not close (although the buses stop running at the times above). Should you wish to stay later than the bus operating times, you are welcome to do so and use a taxi to return to your car. You will be able to exit with your vehicle from the Park and Ride at any time.
The buses will set down and pick up at Bus Stop B, University Drive (outbound to Bluebell Rd), as well as pick-up and drop-off guests from the Enterprise Centre for the graduation ceremony screening.
Please see below regarding planned roadworks.
Blue Badge Holders
The Park and Ride buses are mobility friendly and the bus stops on campus are a short distance to the location of the Graduation Ceremonies.
There are a limited number of parking spaces on campus for Blue Badge Holders, which can be arranged by pre-booking a space in our Main Car Park.
Unfortunately, if a space has not been pre-booked you may be asked to use the Park and Ride as reserved spaces will be limited to those who have pre-booked.
Please complete our booking form to pre-book a Blue Badge Holders parking space.
