We aim to provide a safe and secure environment for all staff, students and visitors to the UEA campus. We work closely with community police to provide a 24-hour security cover for the University campus. We provide advice and guidance to staff and students on how to keep themselves safe and how to protect their property.
Where are we?
Our team are based in The Lodge at the top of University Drive and Chancellors Drive. The Lodge is covered by Lodge Assistants from 6:15am-6:00pm Monday to Friday and by Security Officers at all other times.
What do we look like?
To help you to identify us we all wear a UEA Security uniform. When outside The Lodge we wear either hi-visibility jackets, hi-visibility vests or black jackets with the UEA logo.
UEA security officers are trained to the highest level and are ready to deal with any situation. Also, we are all First Aid trained.
We can be found around campus on foot, by bicycle and in our dedicated vehicles for fast response and patrol of outlying areas.
