Providing 24 hour security cover on campus Providing 24 hour security cover on campus

Our mission is to provide a safe and secure environment for all staff, students and visitors to the UEA campus. We work closely with community police to provide a 24-hour security cover for the University campus.

Where are we?

Our team are based in The Lodge at the top of University Drive and Chancellors Drive.

The Lodge is covered by Lodge Assistants from 7.30am-7.30pm Monday to Friday and by Security Officers at all other times.

What do we look like?

To help you to identify us, we all wear a UEA Security uniform.

When outside The Lodge we wear either hi-visibility jackets, hi-visibility vests or black jackets with the UEA logo.

About us

Our security officers are trained to the highest level and are ready to deal with any situation. We are First Aid trained and some are trained to First Responder Level.

We can be found around campus on foot, by bicycle and in our dedicated vehicle for fast response and patrol of outlying areas.

We have a target time of 3 minutes to attend any incidents.
