We have a maintenance team which provides both planned and reactive maintenance to help keep the University running smoothly. We are available for emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Jobs are allocated in order of priority so if you have an issue which is non-urgent, it may take a few days to be sorted out. If the defect is in your room and you are not there when we come to fix it, we will let themselves in and leave a card.
Need to report a breakdown, leak or repair?
Maintenance issues in your UEA accommodation can be reported directly to us, or if it's more convenient you can visit the Accommodation Office who will report it for you.

Outside normal working hours
Outside normal working hours the Estates Helpdesk transfers to the Security Lodge. Any urgent maintenance, which cannot wait until the next working day, will be dealt with as a callout to the appropriate Estates staff. When contacting Security please provide them with as much information as possible.
