ACCREDITED LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT TRAINING ACCREDITED LEADERSHIP & MANAGEMENT TRAINING

CSED delivers the following programmes which are accredited by external professional organisations and lead to internationally recognised qualifications: 

  • ILM Certificate in Leadership and Management (Level 3) 
  • ILM Diploma in Leadership and Management (Level 5)  

Both of these programmes are accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management.

This course provides an introduction to supervisory and management skills to equip staff with the knowledge and understanding for employment in management positions. 

The course leads to a nationally-recognised qualification and consists of six, one-day workshops, with the completion of short assignments between sessions. 

This course covers: leadership, team motivation, presentations, communication, developing yourself and others, meeting customer needs, understanding conflict, stress management in the workplace, problem solving, and delegation.

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills for continued professional development in operational management positions. It helps staff develop an understanding of a wide range of management and leadership topics, issues, processes and systems. 

The course runs over two years with scheduled sessions once a month and leads to a nationally-recognised qualification. You are expected to undertake reading and research in your own time. Assessment methods for each unit will include presentations, case studies, assignments and work-based projects.  

The course covers a wide range of topics, including becoming an effective leader, financial concepts, budgetary planning and control, managing mental health in the workplace, organisational culture, making presentations, management communication and understanding management coaching and mentoring.
