Do you have a model in Excel with which you need to explore the effects of changing different variables, by asking “what happens if I change this number?” For example you need to explore different options for spending a budget; how many items can you purchase?; if you spend more on one item, by how much will spending on another item need to be reduced?
This course is suitable for people who already use spreadsheets for calculating data.
This course will include:
- techniques for interrogating Excel spreadsheets
- techniques for saving and returning to the results of each interrogation
- opportunities for individual study, when you will identify and address your own skills gaps in data modelling, using online tutorials and practise files
- opportunities to apply your new skills to a spreadsheet that you already use.
The course is delivered face-to-face and all the course materials are available online, so you can quickly refer to them again at any time.
