Looking to earn some extra cash over the summer break?
Want to gain experience of working with young people to enhance your CV?
Sign up to work on one of our summer events.
Over the summer holidays, the Recruitment and Outreach teams run various events for young people to explore university. This year we have five programmes - see below for details about who these events are for:
|This is University||The two-day residential gives Year 12 students the opportunity to discover UEA life, as well as providing essential study skills and wellbeing support.|
|Year 10 Summer School||Aimed at students from Norfolk and north Suffolk who are moving from year 10 into year 11|
|Experience University||Students aged 14-18 with experience of living in local authority care|
|Year 9 Summer School||For students finishing Year 9 and moving into Year 10, thinking about future options with a focus on university in particular|
|UEA for a Day||A non-residential summer event for Year 9 and 10 students from the local area|
One of the things that makes our programmes run so well is you - our Student Ambassadors! We rely on Ambassadors to help us make the young people who visit us feel welcome and at home with us. We give you the chance to work with them in workshops and activities, eat with them, answer their questions about student life and routes to university.
If you're interested, please read the full description of the roles and shift times here, and complete the application form linked below.
