If you are a first year student starting in September 2019 and you are available to work on the Open Days on Saturday 19 October 2019 and Sunday 20 October 2019, fill out this form.

What is the Accommodation Reps Scheme?

The Student Accommodation Representatives Scheme is run by the Recruitment Events team for first years living in on campus accommodation and the Village.

The role of students on the scheme is to work on during Recruitment Events such as Open Days and Campus Tours, to showcase their accommodation to potential students and answer any questions they may have. You will be giving potential students a glimpse into what it’s like to live and study at UEA.

Who can apply for the Accommodation Reps Scheme?

The types of flats eligible for the scheme are as follows:

  • En suite on campus
  • En suite Hickling and Barton
  • Standard on campus 
  • En suite in the Village

Two bedroom units are not showcased as part of the scheme.

What do we need from you?

We are looking for students who are;

  • Motivated
  • Organised
  • Enthusiastic
  • Committed

How do I join the scheme?

To apply for the scheme please fill out this form. You and your flatmates will need to attend a meeting to discuss your place on the scheme. We will then need to do a flat inspection.

What paperwork will I need to provide?

Every single member of your flat will need to sign a registration form and give their permission to allow visitors into the flat.

Those students who want to work on the scheme will need to fill out a Register to Work form with UEA. Alongside this, they will need to provide evidence that they are entitled to work in the UK. Documents that are acceptable as evidence are:

A valid passport (and visa if relevant).


A4 birth certificate and proof of your NI number.

You will need to provide the original documents before you work, not copies.

Driving licenses cannot be accepted.
