Staying Safe - covid-19

As the UK response to the Covid-19 pandemic enters the second week of lockdown please see the latest Government advice on how we can stay safe by practicing social distancing.

Please do continue to check our dedicated covid-19 advice, guidance and pages for the latest updates and information. We have updated information on dedicated Covid-19 portal pages, including:

If you have questions that are not covered please email coronavirus.enquiries@uea.ac.uk.

We know there has been a lot of information issued to you all over the last few weeks, so we’ve collated these messages here to make it easier for students and staff to review.

We also wanted to issue a reminder of the government’s advice – as they have also recently issued some FAQs on what you can and cannot do during this time.

Please follow this important advice to help prevent the spread of illness.

This is a rapidly changing pandemic and it is a very worrying time for staff, students and our friends and family.

Help on managing the stress and anxiety is available and please remember staff and students can use UEA’s Health Assured’s Employee Assistance Programme, and you can contact their 24/7 telephone helpline on 0800 030 5182.

You also have access to their online wellbeing portal and app – login details for staff are here, and students here.
